TIPS FOR PASSING A SALIVA DRUG TEST
A mouth swab drug test is an oral saliva test that is done when an institution or a person needs to screen another person for drug use. It can detect marijuana, alcohol and cocaine among others. It is the quickest and most efficient method to check for drugs, however it is also the easiest type of test to pass if you know how to.

Abstain from drugs
If you are a user, you should not use any drugs before the test, as they will be detected quickly. You should abstain for not less than 72 hours and up to a week to be on the safe side.
Clean or hydrate your body
Drink plenty of water for saliva detoxification, if your test is soon. Water is a great body fluids cleanser, so when used, it cleanses all unwanted toxins from your system and lowers their detectability.
Detox your saliva
For sudden and unexpected tests you could use oral clear gum. It contains hydrogen peroxide, which will detox your saliva in just 30 seconds. Follow the instructions to the latter by making sure you pass it on your cheek walls, tongue and jaws then spit it out. This gives you a 30 minutes window of clean saliva. Oral clear gum is known to be one of the most effective, if you are having a sudden test.
You can also employ the use of detox mouthwash, which is cheap, easy to carry around and works just as fast – for about an hour you will be undetectable.

Nevertheless, oral gum is more preferable between these two.
HOW TO PASS THE TEST
- It is always recommended to use detox products in order to increase your chances to pass a saliva drug test.
- Brush your teeth at least 3 times a day mostly concentrating on cheeks, tongue and gum line, as this is where the swab will collect your saliva. After that, rinse your oral cavity with appropriate mouthwash, but do not hurt your inner mouth as this might raise suspicion.
- If you are not supervised, ignore some of the laboratory requirements, as this will make it hard to detect your drug use.
- Chewing ice will make your saliva stay as clean as possible during 48 hours before the test.
- Don’t take any product that contains nicotine, because this can lead to false-positive result.
- Avoid eating poppy seeds even from your cake muffins, as they are also able to produce false-positive result. Note that opium (used to obtain heroin) comes from poppy seeds.
- In order to know whether the results are going to be positive or not, buy your own home drug test kit and test yourself.
So, if you know when the test is planned, abstain from using any form of illicit substances and hydrate your body enough to flush any traces of drugs out of your saliva. Use your oral clear gum or detox mouthwash, as they are the fastest and most effective cleansers for saliva drug test.
